1990's Aged Golden Tips Loose Leaf Pu-Erh Tea (Ripe/Shou)

While many puerh teas are blended using a combination of young and mature leaves and stems to achieve different flavour profiles, it is less common to find puerh teas that use only young tea tips from old trees.

Tea tips are typically used in puerh recipes to add softness and to balance out the tea, making it more approachable at a younger age.

This 1990s all-tip, loose-leaf ripe puerh has been sitting in storage for nearly 30 years, resulting in a mellow and aged taste, delivered in a  tea liquor. Enjoyed over many infusions, this tea is delightfully soothing with minimal bitterness.
